Primal Instincts and the Desperate Need for Rewiring confronts the uncomfortable reality that becoming a child of God does not immediately erase a lifetime of carnal thinking, learned behaviors, destructive reactions, and fleshly desires. When we are hurt, tempted, angry, rejected, afraid, or overwhelmed, our first response can still look far more like the old man than the character of our Father.
