A Servant's Heart

The greatest among us was the One willing to become servant to all.

A Servant’s Heart begins with one of the most challenging commands given to the believer: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Though He was God, Christ “made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant.” He humbled Himself, became obedient, and ultimately went to the cross — demonstrating that true greatness is found not in position, recognition, or being served, but in willingly lowering ourselves for the sake of others.

Drawing from the biblical pattern of Christ’s humility, obedience, sacrifice, and service, A Servant’s Heart challenges believers to move beyond simply admiring the example of Jesus and begin developing the mind of Christ described in Philippians 2:5–8. The question is not merely whether we are willing to serve, but whether we are willing to think like the Servant who gave Himself for us.
